Haley Morelli, University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, 2017 NFCA NCAA Division III All-American
Haley Morelli, Illinois Impact Alum (2010-14) and a member of the very first Impact team, has been named National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III All-America for her performance during her 2017 Senior season for the Warhawks softball team at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Haley helped UW-Whitewater sweep the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular season and tournament championships with a perfect 17-0 record against conference foes. The team finished with a 37-9 mark overall and hosted a regional round of the NCAA Division III Championship in the midst of its 20th appearance in the national tournament. During her four years at UWW, the Warhawks had a record of 141-45.
Haley led the WIAC Conference and ranked among the nation's top 20 in home runs (12) and runs batted in (48), good for top five all-time marks in one season in program history. A two-time WIAC Position Player of the Week during the season, Morelli ranked second in the league in batting average (.424), slugging percentage (.741) and total bases (103), and was third in on-base percentage (.491) and hits (59).
Morelli also garnered WIAC Position Player of the Year, first team All-WIAC and first team NFCA All-Great Lakes Region accolades.
