2016-17 Illinois Impact Expands to Five (5) Teams!
Program expands to add 2nd 18u team
Illinois Impact grows to 70 players representing 25 high schools
In August 2016, Illinois Impact grew to 5 teams with 3 at 16u level and for the first time, 2 at the 18u level. From 15 players in 2010 to nearly 5 times that size in six years, we now are drawing players from 25 High Schools in 3 counties and Wisconsin. We have become know as an elite program that Colleges respect.
Trophy CASE grows to total of 40!!!
Fall/Winter/High School Seasons
Impact teams start strong with 2 trophies in the Fall. After a strong winter of practice and conditioning, 40 Impact players lead their 17 Varsity teams into the IHSA playoffs, with 16 players earning all-conference or all-area honors for the 2017 HS season.
Summer Season
The 2017 Summer Season got off to a great start with 3rd (16u-EB, Border Wars) and 4th (16u-AD, Summer Spectacular) Place trophies in the first week. 18u-KS WON the Elk Grove Heat PGF in Week 2 took 3rd at the Stars and Stripes College Showcase in Week 5. 16u-AD took 2nd Place at Heartland Shootout in Moline, IL in Week 3. 18u-FM won the Silver NAFA Midwest Nationals in Week 6.
The program continued its strong success in National Tournaments finishing 9th (18u-FM, NAFA Northern Nationals), 19th (18u-KS, 80-Team, 20-State TCS East Cost Nationals), and 13th (16u-AD, NSA Northern Nationals)
