In 2015-16, Illinois Impact took another step in developing its future College-Bound Athletes when it expanded to 4 teams (3 at 16u and 1 at 18u) and 54 players. All three 16u teams played challenging schedules at mostly A-level tournaments and college exposure events.
The 18u team continued its excellence from the previous year with five (5) more top-3 finishes, including tournament wins in both the Fall (Screamfest in Beloit, WI) and Summer (Heartland Shootout in Moline, IL). They also traveled to Myrtle Beach along with one our 16u teams to play in the A-level Triple Crown Sports East Cast Nationals, advancing to 3rd place in one of the 6 double eliminations brackets, finishing 13th out of 95 teams in a very strong tournament field.
The 16u-Black team led by Head Coach Erin Beck took 3rd Place in the State NSA Tournament!
