2013-14 was a pivotal year for Illinois Impact. We expanded to 3 teams by adding a 14u team and grew to 43 players.
For the first time, all three teams played in an A-level nationals in Spartanburg, SC, raising the expectation level for the program and its teams/players. Throughout the year, the teams played in tournaments designed to challenge players and expose them college recruiters at a variety of levels
The 18u team earned the program's first ever 1st place tournament finish. The 16u team earned a 5-0 record in the prestigious Buckeye Recruitfest College Exposure event in Columbus Ohio. All three teams qualified for the A-level NSA World Series. There were six Top-Four tournament finishes among the 3 teams, with each team earning at least one.
