The Illinois Impact 14u team includes  Freshmen and 8th/7th graders from 7 High/Middle Schools in Cook, Lake, and McHenry Counties.  Illinois Impact teams are reconstituted each year based on competitive tryouts held each August.  This year's team has 8 new players and 3 returning players.  

Coach Kaitlyn has been a coach for the past 4 years with Illinois Impact at the 14u and 16u levels. She played travel softball for 7 years, including with Illinois Impact 18u. After playing all four years on Streamwood High School’s varsity softball and volleyball teams, she studied Communication-Public Relations & Experience Design at the University of Indianapolis, graduating in 2018.  She also spent a semester abroad in Prague.  She is currently an Operations Manager at Midwest Legacy Group.  She also enjoys serving on the Alive Adult Ambassador Board for the Alive Center, helping teens create a safe and engaging place to grow.
